Why it matters

The early postpartum period is often overlooked once families leave the hospital — yet it’s one of the most critical times for healing and adjustment.
This visit helps bridge that gap by offering:

  • Clinical reassurance from a Registered Nurse

  • Early detection of potential complications (infection, poor healing, dehydration, mastitis, etc.)

  • Empathy and emotional support in a non-judgmental, nurturing environment

  • Breastfeeding success through hands-on guidance and follow-up education

A holistic approach to postpartum nursing

My approach blends clinical skill with holistic care — supporting not just the body, but also the mind and emotions of new motherhood.
Many families describe this visit as grounding, comforting, and exactly what they needed.
